‘Lolita’ star Amber Heard wins a beauty contest
— An Amber Heard-starred Hollywood movie was awarded the “Lolitas” beauty contest this week after a crowd-funded effort.
The “Lollipop” star has been featured in a number of Instagram-themed beauty videos, with her signature face-lift makeup and long, curly hair being featured in “LOLita” and “Glamour Girl.”
“Lolitarians,” a Facebook page created by a fan of the movie, asked for $5,000 to help raise money for the “Amber Heard Lollipop Beauty Contest” in support of a local nonprofit.
The page said the $5k would be used to pay for travel expenses, food, and more for a group of 30-plus fans, who will travel from Lousville, Tenn., to attend the beauty contest.
The $5K is expected to be donated to the “Glimmers Foundation,” a nonprofit that provides grants to local groups, including women’s health and domestic violence organizations.
The event will take place at The Ritz-Carlton in Lousvisville, Kentucky.
“The Lollitas are the most beautiful people on earth and the best looking in the world.
So this is so much fun for all of us,” the page said in a post.
“I think the Lollitas are the ultimate beauty-obsessed, fun loving people.
I just can’t get enough of them.
We hope to see you all there and can’t wait to meet all the amazing people we met.”
In the video, Heard and a group are seen embracing in front of the “Wanna Be Lolla” sign at the top of the theater’s theater.
Heard is shown wearing a red lace wig, a red lip gloss, and red lipstick.
Amber also is seen in the video with a white wig and lipstick.
